Iceland / Digital photography

After finishing a Bachelors degree in photography from Brooks Institute, Santa Barbara USA, Fridrik Orn has collaborated with artists on various projects, amongst those photographers Carol Hodge, Mark Seliger, J.P. Morgan, Michel Comte and Peggy Sirota. Since studying and working in the USA for 10 years, Fridrik Orn has explored the world with his camera. His primary method is the digital camera, which he uses to finalise the image on location, during each shoot, leaving no need for post-production. The main object of Fridrik’s photographic affection for the last seven years has been photographing lighthouses in Iceland.

Currently, Fridrik Orn teaches at the School of Photography in Reykjavik and is working on several exhibitions which will open in Iceland in 2011.
